Pacific Orange™ Antibodies

Pacific Orange™ is a succinimidyl ester that is violet-excitable with a maximum emission at 551 nm. Pacific orange™ can be used with other violet-excitable fluorophores like Pacific Blue™ using a single excitation source. Succinimidyl esters, as a class of compounds, provide a very efficient and easy-to-use protocol to selectively link a dye to the amine groups on proteins such as antibodies. Succinimidyl esters, like Pacific Orange™, have proven to be excellent reagents for amine modification because the bonds they covalently form are as stable as typical peptide bonds between amino acids in proteins.

Anti-CD3 antibody (Pacific Orange™) has been used in research regarding B cell lymphoma as well as brain tumors. The CD3 complex is a mediator of signal transduction localized on the cell membrane. Defects in CD3 and anti- CD3 antibody can cause several severe immunodeficiency disorders among a specific group of ailments characterized by low antibody levels and specific immunities due to poor T- cell development. Anti-CD45 antibody (Pacific Orange™) binds against the target CD45. CD45 antigen is also known as protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C (PTPRC). PTPRC is an enzyme in the cluster of differentiation 45 family that contains many similar proteins encoded from a single complex gene. PTPRC is required for T-cell activation and acts as a positive regulator of T-cell co-activation by recruiting and dephosphorylating SKAP1 and FYN. Defects in protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C are the cause of severe combined immunodeficiency autosomal recessive T-cell-negative/V-cell-positive/NK-cell-positive and are involved in multiple sclerosis susceptibility. Severe combined immunodeficiency autosomal recessive T-cell-negative/V-cell-positive/NK-cell-positive is a rare genetic disease characterized by impairment of humoral and cell-mediated immunity, leukopenia, and low or even absent antibody levels. It is an immunodeficiency syndrome where affected individuals suffer from persistent infections. Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease affecting many people throughout the world. Multiple sclerosis affects the brain and spinal cord and is caused by damage to the myelin sheath. Affected individuals suffer from symptoms like muscle spasms, numbness, loss of balance, and trouble walking.
