Embryogenesis

Embryogenesis is the developmental process that begins (in animals) once an egg has been fertilized. It is the production of an embryo. Antibodies for embryogenesis are involved in the process of developing and forming an embryo. The process starts with fertilization followed by numerous mitotic divisions and cell differentiations ultimately leading to the development of a fetus. A zygote, or fertilized egg, will go through a process called cleavage in which it experiences numerous quick cell divisions using mitosis. These cells show no specific growth but continue to rapidly divide forming what is known in human development as a blastula. Cellular differentiation is the process by which the cells morph into certain types of cells which eventually leads to the development of the embryo by way of formation of what is called a gastrula.

The anti- androgen receptor antibody plays an integral role in steroid hormone receptors that regulate gene expression in eukaryotes. Defects in androgen receptors are the cause of androgen insensitivity syndrome which causes affected males to have female genetalia and breasts while still developing testes (although abnormally located in the abdomen or inguinal regions). These defects develop despite having a normal 46, XY karyotype. Serotonin Receptor 3A is one of many receptors for 5- hydroxytryptamine or serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter and a hormone responsible for the regulation of satiety, hunger, mood, and sleep. Anti- 5HT3A antibody binds to this receptor in place of serotonin and can effectively block the binding of 5HT3A.
